THE BUZZ: Considering the presence of screenwriters-turned-directors Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, and the fact that this movie was partially shot in China, I'm sensing we might be in store for a Hangover II-level misadventure for the Project X crowd. What doesn't make me cringe is knowing that Relativity Media, the studio behind the project, tends to make likeable if underrated youth comedies, including the recent Take Me Home Tonight. Also, star Miles Teller has successfully avoided our scorn by surviving both Footloose and the aforementioned PXwith his charm intact.
